Who You Talk To
When you send a request or call, you reach an independent water damage restoration provider who serves your part of the Albuquerque area. Sometimes a partner connects you to that provider. Artfinancier Water Restoration does not have its own workers. The person you speak with works for the provider.
What the First Call Is Like
The provider will ask a few simple questions:
- Where is the water coming from? Is it off?
- Which rooms are wet?
- Is the water clean, or did it come from a drain or outside?
- How long has it been there?
Photos help a lot. The provider will then set a time to come look. Ask what the visit includes and if there is a fee.
Questions to Ask a Provider
- Do you have the license my state requires? Are you insured?
- How do you find hidden water?
- How will I know my home is dry?
- Can I get the estimate in writing?
- Can you share photos and readings?
- What caused this, and how can I prevent it?
A provider who answers plainly and puts it in writing is a good sign.
